American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)

The international professional society of more than 30,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE is known for its prestigious FACHE® credential, signifying board certification in healthcare management, and its educational programs including the annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which draws more than 4,000 participants each year.

Health Administration Press

Health Administration Press is a division of the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Founded in 1972 with support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, Health Administration Press has grown from a small office on the campus of the University of Michigan to one of the largest publishers of books and journals on all aspects of health services management, including textbooks for use in undergraduate and graduate courses.

International Leadership Association

The International Leadership Association is the global network for all those who practice, study and teach leadership. The ILA promotes a deeper understanding of leadership knowledge and practices for the greater good of individuals and communities worldwide.

Healthcare Financial Management Association

With more than 40,000 members, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is the nation's premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders. HFMA builds and supports coalitions with other healthcare associations and industry groups to achieve consensus on solutions for the challenges the U.S. healthcare system faces today. Working with a broad cross-section of stakeholders, HFMA identifies gaps throughout the healthcare delivery system and bridges them through the establishment and sharing of knowledge and best practices.

MGMA

MGMA is the nation’s principal voice for the medical group practice profession.The Association started as a small network of clinic managers, called the National Association of Clinic Managers, which met for the first time in Madison, Wis., in 1926. The name was changed to the Medical Group Management Association in 1963 to reflect the diverse management roles found in group practice. MGMA serves 22,500 members who lead and manage more than 13,700 organizations in which almost 275,000 physicians practice.

The Academy of Management (The Academy; AOM)

The Academy of Management (the Academy; AOM) is a leading professional association for scholars dedicated to creating and disseminating knowledge about management and organizations. Founded in 1936 by two professors, the Academy of Management is the oldest and largest scholarly management association in the world. Today, the Academy is the professional home for 18892 members from 108 nations. Academy members are scholars at colleges, universities, and research institutions, as well as practitioners with scholarly interests from business, government, and not-for-profit organizations. The Academy’s central mission is to enhance the profession of management by advancing the scholarship of management and enriching the professional development of its members. The Academy is also committed to shaping the future of management research and education.
